Ah... February 14.... Valentine's Day...
The season of love, of kisses, of chocolate boxes, of comforting hugs, of everything you've ever dreamed of... To be close to that one person that owns a special place in your heart...
For most people that is an amazing Day... Where you get to be happy and all romantic. Where you get to feel careless and just live your life... The Day that marks on the calendar when your relationship might turn... When things happen.
To ALL the people that are in love...
To ALL the people that have their hearts jumping...
To ALL the people that got to have that feeling...
To ALL the people that were and are loved...
Because to LOVE someone is very easy,
The hard part is to BE LOVED.
So if you went missing on Monday just because you felt like just not getting out of bed, or just going outside and scream like a crazy wildcat, or go to the bathroom and cry your eyes out, because love didn't knock on your heart. You should be VERY ashamed of yourself. I mean come on it's just Valentine's Day. It's not like it's your last one. It's not like the world is going to come to an end tomorrow.
'BUT WHAT IF IT IS?' The dumbass you screams in reply.
Well then if the day after Valentine's Day is the last day. Then THAT's how you want to spend it? Crying over something you never had? Crying because you don't have a boyfriend? But what about the other things? Your friends, your family, the things that makes you laugh, the simple things that are just perfect. Why don't you hold on to that until something happens? Because maybe it's just not the time.
So to you, the one that is thinking about buying a heart-shaped chocolate box give it to yourself and cry like a maniac on the bathroom on Monday, I tell you this.
DON'T worry.
Things WILL come around.
KEEP looking out for what's best.
HAVE confidence.
Try to LIVE everyday like it's the last and the best day of your life.
Don't try to live up to other people's expectations, TRY to live up to yours.
I know those days you're down and you just feel like digging a hole and bury yourself.
But LOOK around, there's people above reaching out a good old shovel to help you out of it.
Believe in YOURSELF.
